Miley Cyrus- I Miss You(FULL)

The girls absolutely love Miley!!!

The best present EVER!!!

Guess where Josh and I are taking the big girls next Thursday... That's right!!! We are going to the Hannah Montana/Miley Cyrus best of both worlds CONCERT!!!!!!!!!!!! It's only the hottest ticket around. If you remember back I tried very hard to get the girls concert tickets and they sold out in 4 MINUTES! Well, by some small or very large miracle Josh and I scored 4 tickets to the most sought after concert in I don't know how long. The timing couldn't have been more perfect and we were able to surprise the girls with Hannah Montana tickets for Christmas. They were so excited as we knew they would be, so we saved the best for last. I have to admit I'm pretty excited too. I wanted to be able to share with all of you but I just couldn't take a chance of the girls finding out.

They're coming

These are gonna be so late! Promise they are coming(my Christmas cards)...I just have to run to Wal-mart and pick them up as well as find a gift for my secret sister (probably not at Wal-mart) and present 3 contracts, get a listing in the computer as well as take pictures and room measurements and taste test Eggnog @ Smucker's. I'm thinking if I get to the post office ASAP you should receive them no later than Christmas Eve. ;0)

Reagan and Riley updates...

15 months old already, I can hardly believe it! The babies get more and more sweet everyday. We have new words...aside from mama, dada, and hi. They are saying thank you and Tinkerbell. Yes, they really say Tinkerbell it's adorable and they know who she is. They also say lots of babbly words. Yep, they are trying to carry on conversations they are probably going to be talkative like Josh ;0). Both the babies can point out their nose as well as everyone's around them. The other day Reagan was helping out with laundry (gotta start 'em early :0). She would hand me a towel to fold and when I was done with that one she would hand me another. Not just one or two the entire load...yay Rae! Now if I could just teach her to fold...hehe. Ahhh... and their new lovey's. Their blankies, they love them. They walk around carrying them all of time. When we get them up from their naps they make sure they bring their blankies out with them. It's adorable and I love every minute of it. Teeth...lots and lots of teeth. Eight each with each of them getting 4 molars currently. Actually, I checked ever so carefully yesterday and Riley had a top one broke through. Just a little but it was definitely there. Reagan also likes to pick up absolutely anything she sees on the floor no matter how small it is and hand it to me. She may be a clean freak, in a house of 6 I could use one of those. They are walking everywhere well starting to run and have "redecorated" our Christmas trees several times. Does anyone know if you can get sick from eating year old strung popcorn?? :0)

P.S. I'll post pictures tomorrow.

Oops!

Has it really been almost a week since my last post? Where oh where has the time gone?! I promise I'll try really hard to post tomorrow...(notice I gave myself an out ;0) insert: "try"). The babies are doing some really cute things now. We've got new words, new lovies, and new tricks. Can't wait to share them with you all. Although, I'm ashamed to admit my camera has been in my van all week...bad blogger I know. I'll try to get some pictures too. See ya tomorrow.

Favorites

Rudolph and Clarice
Reagan LOVES Rudolph...she carries him around all of the time.
This was taken right after they woke up...the first thing she did when I brought her into our living room was get her Rudolph.

Riley she LOVES Clarice. She will cuddle with her...it's so cute. I always sing "Rudolph the Red Nose Reindeer" and they quick get their reindeer and dance. I have it on video but I will not be posting it. There is a reason I'm not a professional singer. OH and they never pick up the other one's reindeer...they just know. They have their favorite and they're sticking to it.

Temptations...

It seems as though the babies are having to work extra hard at listening to mommy here lately, example below:

Riley no, no. Just look at the pretty ornaments.
Riley not liking mommy's "suggestion"

...mommy walks away...

Happy Belated Birthday Booder, I LOVE YOU!!

December 1st...

Happy Birthday Dad!! I love you so much...it's hard to be away from you. I want you to know that there is not one day that goes by that I don't think of you and Mom and hope that you are well. I just want you to know how lucky I feel to have you as a dad. I have the best memories of being daddy's little girl you were always there for me. You are the best man I know...you showed me what to look for in a husband and for that I am so thankful. You have a heart of gold...it is so big and so full of love. I wish that I could have spent your birthday with you, I hope it was as wonderful as you are. I love you Booder!

A Little Late...

Today I took the twins to get their 1 yr. pictures taken. I know it's a little late but we have battled runny noses for so long this is the first time we could make an appointment and keep it. I almost had to cancel again since hubby has kidney stones...poor guy, he is in soooo much pain. Actually, it's so bad he had to go to the ER tonight. Thankfully my mother-in-law was able to go along and we finally did it. Riley was awesome...quite the HAM actually. Reagan well let's just say she wasn't real into staying where she needed to be. She did OK but no smiles and some pretty big tears. We did manage to get a few good ones. I told the photographer smiles were optional, no props please, and they didn't even have to look directly at the camera so long as you could see their faces. She did a very good job and was extremely patient. I had to leave before the pictures could be printed but I think I can pull them up on-line but probably not until tomorrow. I can't wait to get them back... I'll post them soon. Hopefully, my hubby will pass this by tomorrow we have the annual Christmas party for the Board of Realtors and it's a Murder Mystery...how fun!! He's doing okay but pretty out of it right now...good painkillers. Say a little prayer for him please.

Thanks Riley

...for teaching your sister a new trick.

New Snack

Yesterday I ran to the grocery store to pick something up for dinner and a few other things...always a few other things...never fails. Anyhow, I needed to get some cereal for the big girls and decided on Rice Krispies. I kinda like how they aren't sugar coated and we can add as much or more like as little as we want. Since the box was so huge I thought we could make some Rice Krispie treats too. Which means I needed to buy marshmallows. I buy the minis because they melt faster then I started thinking mini marshmallows sure are good in hot cocoa so I went over and grab a huge can of Swiss Miss. We are not coffee people at all but we do love our Hot Cocoa huh, Dusti??? (Sorry inside joke!) So this morning as I was warming up some water on the stove for my hot chocolate Reagan woke up. I was munching on the minis and decided to give her one. SHE LOVED IT. They have recently learned to make their point know by pointing and grunting when the want something. I've heard marshmallows can be a choking hazard so I put one in my mouth to see how hard it would be to break down without chewing...Luckily for Reagan it was perfect and the rest is history. Of course, now I have to go back to the grocery store to get more for the Rice Krispie Treats :0). *The marshmallow on the table has the cutest little bite taken out of it but you can't tell in the picture.

We're Back

Well, we are back from a wonderful vacation. Thank you Lord for allowing us to travel safely. This Thanksgiving was such a special one. We had a great time with family. Family we don't see very often. It started out Thursday morning hitting the road a little later than planned but I was so glad we did not rush. We made it to the church safely and there was still plenty of food. Our family has to have Thanksgiving at a facility that can hold a LOT of people. I wish I had a count but I don't...best guess 100+. The girls did really well traveling we watched a couple of movies and before they knew it we were at our destination. The babies did really good until about the last half hour or so. Not too bad. That night we stayed out at Uncle Barry's and Aunt Carolyn's cabin. It was so beautiful and peaceful we could have stayed much longer. Aunt Carolyn had all of her Christmas decorations up and Reagan and Riley absolutely loved them. They had smiles and kept pointing to everything, they especially loved the huge Santa that sang and danced. They figured out real quick where the start button was and they would push it over and over and dance while Santa sang...it was so cute and of course, I have video footage. They are really starting to be so much fun. Makenna and Chloe loved it too. Makenna even said as we were leaving she wishes we lived there...Josh quickly said he does too. I loved visiting but I like my shopping closer than an hour and a half away but, I could definitely vacation there. Dusti, Allie, Doug and Mandy and Gabe stayed at the cabin too so the girls had playmates. We watched movies and sipped hot chocolate it was perfect. Friday a LOT of the family met up for bowling and laser tag...when I say a lot of family I mean we had EVERY lane in the bowling alley :0). Later we all got together again back at the cabin for snacks and family time. Now we are home and trying to get things ready to put up the Christmas tree...I can't wait. Do you like how I decorated the blog ;0) ??? Now I just have to find sometime to go Christmas shopping. OH and the big girls already found one of their Christmas gift...the BIG one... :0(

***I haven't downloaded the pictures yet but I will get them posted soon. There is A LOT of them...imagine that!***

Happy Thanksgiving!!

We are going to be out of state for the Holiday but I didn't want to leave without saying,
"Happy Thanksgiving from our family to yours!!"

Look what happened this morning...scary! The guy said his brakes gave out and instead off going across the intersection and causing who knows what kind of accident he thought it would be better to hit the stop sign. I am so glad he didn't get hurt and that no kids were out playing. It was during school hours, although now where near a school but close to children's homes that play outside all of the time...yikes.

AH HA...MOLARS!!

November 2006

November 2007

Finally, it all makes since. The babies are getting molars. These have been the hardest by far! We have had yucky diapers 5-7 times a day...EACH, constant runny noses, fussiness, and lots and lots of biting...can you say OUCH! ... all within the last month or so. Although it seems like so much longer! It's hard to believe something so small could hurt so bad (the teeth piercing our skin). I don't think any of us including Rae and Ri have gone without being bit. Oh yeah, they bite each other. Especially when the are in the stroller, they will grab the others hand and bite their tiny little fingers. You can tell by the cry and the teeth marks left behind what just took place. Tonight I kept looking and wondering, I had a feeling it was a tooth or two but I couldn't see anything. That's because I wasn't looking in the right place. I figured they would get the four on bottom, since they have the four on top. Three have broken through on bottom so it surprised me that the forth would be so harsh. Then I spotted it...massively swollen gums, bulging...poor little things. The plus to all of this is they sure have turned into mama's girls. If daddy has them they reach their arms out for mommy. It is so sweet. We have had lots of cuddle time lately! Well, and nap time too. The yucky diapers have been really rough on their bottoms but I've got that all cleared up for now. We have to change them immediately or it burns their little tooshies! So that's what's new in the Hunt house lots of diapers. Seriously we are going through wipes and diapers like crazy...how about 109 diapers and 3 tubs of wipies in less than two weeks.

Reading and Rocking

Shopping Trip

Saturday morning we got up early took a two hour drive and met up with Dusti and Allie. We had so much fun when they came up for Halloween that we decided to meet up with them and do some Christmas Shopping and hang out. We started out with lunch at The Game Works then headed on to The Baby Gap and Gap Kids(I bought Chloe and the babies some really cute things for Christmas), Pottery Barn, and Abercrombie...by this time Josh was all shopped out and decided he would take the girls to play some video games. Dusti and I continued shopping and met up with them in time to head to Build A Bear where the girls stuff their very own Reindeers and then it was on to Pottery Barn Kids...have I ever mentioned how I LOVE this store. I grab a couple of gotta have items and so did Dusti and then we went on to Libby Lu's...anyone with a little girl has to try out Club Libby Lu's my girls love it. We didn't do makeovers but we did stock up on our glitter hairspray for the holidays and picked up a Christmas present. My awesome Mother-In-Law kept the babies. I missed them lots but it was so nice not lugging them around or being stopped a thousand times. We had a great time. Sorry Dusti I forgot to bring the baby stuff ...promise, I will bring it to Thanksgiving...which I can't believe is like two weeks away!

That's not my fairy...

The babies are really starting to love books. Their favorite is an Usborne Book called "That's not my Fairy" it's a touch and feel book. They have learned what you are suppose to touch on each page it's very cute. They are really starting to learn so much, I love that they understand more...they still choose what they want to listen to and what they don't. Riley has developed her own language...it's funny because she says the same thing over and over again but will sometimes use different pitches. Reagan can say Mama, Dada, Hi and Riley. She makes other noises but these are the words she knows and uses. They both are doing the eat "sign" a lot now but we've been working on "milk" and "more" with absolutely no luck ... so for now we keep trying. Riley has even done eat without being prompted. They are walking everywhere and you can tell they are so proud of themselves. I made a couple little videos of them tonight so I'll post and you can see them in action. They really are best friends and we love it!

Prayer Request

Please pray for my very good friends Janeen, Brian and Ellie Shemenski. Janeen had a little baby boy this past weekend and after birth they realized he would need surgery. Reid is going to be okay but it still has to be tough to have to watch your baby have surgery. I cannot wait to see and cuddle him. Janeen is one of the most amazing friends I have, I love her so much! Pray for this to be a smooth time for them, pray for God to give them comfort and pray for the surgeons that God will guide their hands! We all know the power of prayer! Thank You!!!

Snow???

This morning as the big girls where leaving for school I could hear them screeching with excitement...IT'S SNOWING!! I can't believe the news is calling for snow...already??? Well, I guess it is November. I cannot get over how fast time goes the older you get. I remember being little and thinking the school year was so slow and now I've been out of school ... let's just say it's been a while and time is going way TOO fast! My girls big girls are growing up so fast. I remember Kenna's first day of Kindergarten and now she is in 4Th grade and my little Chlo is a 1st grader, and the babies how can they be 14 months already! I want to cherish this time with my girls, enjoy every second I have with them, they are the loves of my life. Sometimes I feel we get so caught up in everyday life that it is passing us by. The girls are involved in a lot and that's good but days like today when we come straight home from school and do homework, have dinner w/daddy, bake blueberry muffins and read. These are the days I treasure with my girls. We have our day apart then we all come together and talk about how our day went. I love how they talk about their friends and what happened at school...all the important things in their little lives. I wish time would just slow down...I'm not in a rush for my girls to grow up.

Good Morning!!

One of my most favorite things: Hearing the babies wake up and start talking and playing in their cribs. Then going in to get them and they get so excited they jump up and down and smile and giggle. That is one of my FAVORITE things. Of course cuddling them while they drink their bottle is a close second! Gotta Go!! Have a great Monday.

Just some little cuties!

Rae Rae is still not feeling well...poor little baby!

She did feel well enough that 2 seconds after I took this picture she pushed Riley out of the chair, even though there was another one right behind her.
I think Riley knew what was gonna happen.

My little "Ri Ri"

We took Kenna and the babies to the Dr. today I unfortunately forgot my camera. Makenna had a physical and Reagan had a check up because of the whole fever thing. She didn't have any visible reasons for the fever so it must just be a virus. Great...that means it's probably contagious!
Weight Updates:
(1 week shy of 14 months)
Reagan 19lbs. 10oz. (fully dressed + shoes)
Riley 19lbs. (fully dressed + shoes)

Yep...Caught in the ACT!

Have I mentioned lately we cannot leave the room for a second?! Look what seems to be little Ms. Riley's new favorite thing she is not allowed to do yet does it every time I turn around. I told her I was gonna catch her in the act. Usually as soon as she notices I have caught her she hurries and sits down...this time as you can tell she didn't know I was there. (I had to lighten the picture because I was too far a way for the flash to work)

Fevers

Argh, I hate fevers. Poor little Rae is not feeling well. Yesterday afternoon Josh said she started feeling warm and last night it just continued to get worse. Glad we Trick or Treated on Sunday. We kept her on tylenol but as soon as it wore off here came the fever. Of course the way everything around here is public use between Reagan and Riley it will probably be no time before Ri gets sick. Last night was a rough one. The girls went down good but before long Rae was up ... burning up ... crying and miserable. Josh and I took shifts something we haven't had to do in a long time. It's rough being up for hours during the night and then trying to get up bright and early to get the big girls ready for school. Can you say...EXHAUSTED! I'm praying this is just a quickie and she will be all better soon!

Video

Just a little mention of the walking video. This doesn't show just how good they've got the walking thing down. They do it all the time especially when they are just playing or better yet getting into everything. They walk all of the time but can still be unsteady. I can tell every day they are gaining more and more balance. They will walk from one side of the living room to the other unless they fall and aren't close to something to climb up on and start over. Riley's newest trick is standing up on their little rocking chairs. We discourage this but again I think she takes our words as more of a lets just say ... suggestion. The Monkey costumes were perfect cuz they are definitely our little "Monkeys."

Rae Rae walking

TricK or TreaT

Ever seen a Monkey with a binki before??
How cute are my Monkeys!! Riley did very well getting her costume on. It' a good thing to because I wouldn't have made her wear it if it was still freaking her out. We have been trying to love on the "monkey" for about two weeks now, ever since we realized how terrified she was of it. It paid off!!
Is this Reagan or Riley?? Can you tell??

Just a crew out trick or treating on a beautiful fall day!!
Chloe and our new neighbor Shaun. I sold them a house across the street from us. How lucky are we to have such great neighbors!!

A snack for the road. Wouldn't you know that trick or treat would fall right at lunch time for the babies. I was really hoping the bottles would hold them over. They did really good and didn't mind holding off for a little bit.

Look at all of the cousins!! This is a small portion of them. It was so nice to take them trick or treating together. Another great picture for Grandma and Grandpa in Florida. The pretty little pirate is just a friend.

Walking and Teething, Teething and Walking

This is what teething x's 2 looks like!!

Okay, there is no one step or two steps here or there. It's more like 8 steps or 10 steps everywhere. Rae and Ri are really taking to this whole walking thing. They do still crawl but they walk much more. It so cute. Riley actually tried to run today unsuccessfully but hey she tried!! I can't believe how fast they are growing up...hmmm, I recall saying that before but now they are grinning at me with 7 teeth each!! They both have 4 on top and 3 on bottom. We're starting to think they may be mirror twins. Only time will tell. Tomorrow I'll post pictures of them in action. They are starting to really play together. Chase seems to be their favorite game as of right now. They are also getting more and more mischievous. Today I was in the kitchen loading the dishwasher and noticed they were being awful quite...to quite. I went to check on them they had the batteries out of the remote. Later I was putting laundry away they found a box of pictures and decided to let's just say rearrange them for me, how sweet. They are startin' to get real familiar with the word "NO" although they feel it's just a suggestion. No new words but lots of new babble. It's really cute when they get goin'. We've had some pretty fussy weeks here lately but today and yesterday makes me think we could be finally moving past this. It could have a lot to do with the fact they were each cutting 3 teeth at the same time. I just don't remember Makenna and Chloe being that fussy when they were teething but then again that was just one baby at a time not TWO. Rae and Ri are also getting pretty attached to their big sisters. Today Chloe told Reagan to come see her and she crawled right up to her and climbed on her lap. A little later Riley was on Chloe's lap letting her rock her now that's priceless!! Halloween is right around the corner and the monkey costumes are still the only present option we have for the babies so look for pictures come Sunday evening we have trick or treating this weekend.

Beat Woo!!

( This picture is a couple of years old but I love it!!)

Go Red, Beat Woo!! Tomorrow is the big game. Our schools biggest rival and we have home field advantage. Our town is in an uproar with school spirit. This is one of my favorite parts of living in a small community. I have absolutely grown to love raising my girls here. They have pride in their schools and it's so cute to see it at such a young age. Tomorrow we will be sporting our colors red, black and white!! I stop at the local sporting goods store and got each of the girls something special to wear tomorrow. Now we just have to win which I don't think will be a problem!!

So Much Fun!!

How cool is the spiderman pumpkin?!?

Allie Bari is such a little princess so how perfect her pumpkin was a carriage!

Pretty creative the picture frame pumpkin (won first place $50.~yay Dusti!)
The bat was very cute too.

The girls snacking...you should've seen the spread Aunt Rhonda and Uncle Dick put on!!

Rae Rae with her pumpkin

Reagan and Riley's twin pumpkins, everythings better in twos...well almost!

This was not an easy photo to get but thanks for trying Dusti.

Chloe was working hard!!

Kenna and her very first jack-o-lantern.

Well today was the pumpkin carving contest and as usual it was a blast. This was the first year Makenna carved her pumpkin all by herself...believe me she wanted NO help. She did such a good job and she won (along with a lot of others). Chloe picked a more difficult pumpkin that daddy had to help carve I don't even know that I could've carved that one. She did paint it and did a great job. She also won. The babies of course made identical twin pumpkins...so cute and they won as well...wasn't joking when I said a lot of others won. I think pretty much everyone won something. The big girls each won $20 for their masterpieces and Rae and Ri won a combined $20 since the twins could not be separated and entered as a single entry. After all the winnings we headed to the Mall of course! Our cousins Dusti and Allie came up Thursday evening and we have had so much fun hanging out with them...we are so sad that they are traveling back home tomorrow :0(. They went to the mall with us and Kenna, Chloe and Allie made Build-A-Bears. Of course my camera was in the car (I hate when I miss a good photo op!). We had so much fun these past couple of days I can't wait til they come back again. Or maybe we should go visit them!!
