Ah, to be young again

Chloe had a busy evening,
she made Ravioli for dinner,
she did the laundry and
she ironed her doll clothes
well except for the ones that
had to hang dry.

I NEED HELP!!

I am wanting to paint a mural (kitchen scene) on the walls in the girls play area. Maybe you can help me with my dilemma. I have no idea what color to paint the wall. Here is my concept. I want to paint the wall and paint a window above the sink, a clock above the stove and possibly a cabinet above the refrigerator. Any suggestions on the colors I should use???? I would like to paint the window frame white as well as the cabinet. I really need to decide on the wall color and curtain color. I would love to hear your input. Thanks I'll post pictures when it's complete.

I would have been in Heaven if I had this play set as a child. I was into this kind of stuff. Is that set from Pottery Barn? Love it.

Whatever colors you choose, you must go GIRLY! Especially since you have 4 girls...I figure they will all be playing with this at one point in time. Maybe different shades of purples,pinks...possibly a light shade of yellow! Hmmmm....

Good luck. What a fun project, Mommy. You must post pics of the completed project.

Okay Rachel,

What if you would get sheets of wood and paint them white and put handles on them, and hang from the wall, to make it look like cabinets? Then use an actual curtain rod to hang the curtains? I would use retro colors, since the kitchen set is. Then get a silver clock to hang up. Hey, if you want help, I here for that too! I can always paint.... :o)

Can't wait to see what you come up with.....
