TALKING SENTENCES!

How can my sweet little babies be speaking 3/4 word sentences??? Already. It's very cute and I love hearing them talk but honestly I'm not ready for them to grow up. So here's what Reagan said last night..."sissy bite you." What?! Riley had bit (really bad) Reagan about a half hour before and I was taking her out of her stroller and asked her, "what did sissy do to you?" Plain as day she said it. Reagan also insists on carrying around two babies at all times. Hmmm...I think she thinks this is the norm. She will walk around saying "i got two babies." Some of their other favorites are "where'd they go" if someone walks away/out of site and "i don't know" if you ask them where someone/something went i.e. binki or sippy cup. Rae is definitely the more talkative one she is always talking~ lots of time babbles with a recognizable word here and there. They will both ask for a "drinkee" or "cupee", they say "binki" and sing the binki song, they say gramma, and papa, chlo-chlo and nenee (kenna), mommy and daddy...lots of times hi mommy or hi daddy (adorable), Reagan said hot dog and cheeseburger last week...she talks very clear. That is when she speaks words I know. They have their own language. I'm trying to blog all of this because unfortunately I never started baby books for them :o( Rae and Ri have a huge vocabulary. I'm sure if I tried to write every word they say I'd leave out more than I'd probably remember. I do want to make note of the words they have truly perfected and use most frequently. Any guesses??? Think about it...they're twins...they have to share almost everything...do you got it? Yep "MINE" and then of course "NO" we hear these words a lot. And to think I thought being twins they would be really good at sharing. Completely. Opposite. They are terrible at sharing, they will get into a knock down drag 'em out fight over something. They bite and push and scratch...it's bad. We have to really keep an eye on them. If you hear one crying it's probably because the other did something. Ah twins, gotta love em. We are learning time out. I'm sure they'll have it perfected before they turn 2! haha.

Ellie can always help in the time out category!!!! We started a marble jar...long story...I will fill you in later. But anywho...it's a bit deal to get no time outs in a day!!!! Ahhhh...if the twins don't have it figured out by 2.....don't worry...the will TRULY get the idea by the age of 3! I promise! I am hoping that 4 is a bit better. We'll see soon enough!

Great post! Go girls - I can only imagine how cute they are talking. Little voices are sooo sweet! Ditto on the sharing part - oh my, it's like Ultimate Fighting in our household too - and lots of time outs, lots of apologies and hugs and kisses to make up, but shortly thereafter it's back at it again...oh I don't know...at the end of some days my head hurts, cause it gets so loud and crazy. A lot of happy crazy too, just very very loud!
Way to go on your running too, awesome!

i remember my girls were talking sentences by 18 months and eli is just now (at 25 months) speaking some sentences.
Girls are good talkers, and rightly so...since it's our favorite thing to do!
I love watching this age learn and grow. You can almost see their little brains absorbing like sponges.
How cool.....
