Update on the girls

Just a quick update on the babies. Reagan and Riley are doing great they are growing and starting to do so much. Tummy time is non existent as soon as I put them on their tummies they roll right over. They absolutely love cartoons which is so funny because our other girls had no interest in TV until they were around 3 yrs old. Not Rae and Ri they will cock their little heads to watch...I must admit it is pretty cute. They love Dora and The Backyardigans. I am very anxious for them to start playing with their toys. Riley seems to be trying a little more than Reagan at reaching for them. They will hold a toy if I put it in their hand and then it goes straight to their mouth...lol. Speaking of putting toys in their mouths today I notice Tinkerbell (our dog) licking one of the rattles...YUK~~ I told Josh we need to watch that...he thought it was kind of funny. At least I know now not to leave any toys on the floor if we aren't around.
Rae and Ri are getting very vocal. They squeal and talk all of the time. Reagan is more vocal then Riley. They like to hold hands when they are laying on the floor together-it's so cute. They are also starting to do the bouncing up and down on your lap thing to if you hold under their arms. I guess they are trying to work out those little legs, uh-oh mom and dad look out it won't be long until they are on the move.
As you can tell we are having a blast staying busy and loving every minute of it. Well except maybe in the middle of the night.
They are vastly approaching 5 months, I can't believe it!

HAPPY BIRTHDAY KENNA BEAR!!!

Kenna 18 months

Nine years ago today Josh and I became parents for the first time. How exciting! I remember at times we didn't know if we would ever be able to have children. We prayed a lot. After two years of trying we finally found out we were pregnant. Truly one of the happiest days of our lives. We didn't know who to tell first. Then we found out we were expecting a girl, our little Kenna bear. We had no idea what we were in for. We had no idea we could love so much or worry so much. We headed up to the hospital (Makenna was born in Akron) at around 6:00a.m. I remember the ride was kind of quite. Both Josh and I were nervous not knowing what to expect. Things went rather smoothly, I was induced after being four days past my due date. Makenna was born @ 5:15p.m. she weighed 8lbs. 4oz. and was 20 1/2inches long. She was everything we hoped she would be. Fast forward 9 years later...Wow, how time flies. Our first born is growing up. She is such a wonderful little girl!! Kenna is so much fun. She loves to sing and dance. Play with her friends and listen to music. Her favorite color is pink, her favorite tv shows are Hannah Montana, Raven, and Phil of the Future and pretty much anything else on the Disney Channel. Her favorite movie is High School Musical. She is in 3rd grade now and is a straight A student. We are very proud of her and can't imagine our lives without her!! We love you so much Kenna Bear thank you for being born!!

P.S. She is a pretty great sister too!

Girl Scouts Tour the Police Station

Thank you so much OPD! What a neat experience, the girls loved it. Monday our girl scout troop took a tour of the police station and got a behind the scenes look. We earned our Magenta pedal (respect authority) and a police tour fun patch.

I must say thank you to my awesome co-leader/sis in law Laura, I couldn't do this with out you.

Chloe especially loved the tour because her daddy did it. He's the best what else can we say.
It's pretty nice having your own cop...lol.

Oh and by the way we are currently selling girl scout cookies if anyone's having a craving. We will ship. Our goal is 1500 boxes, currently we have sold 1071. Pretty good ... if we reach our goal we are headed for build-a-bear. I have a good feeling about this.

This weekend our Girl Scout troop headed for the ice!! Our neighborhood had a family day at the rink. It turned out to be a great day, no injuries. As the troop leader I really appreciated that especially since the girls are only 5 and 6 and this was a first time for most of them.

Josh even got into the spirit! What a good daddy. Reagan, Riley, and Mommy watched from the sidelines.

Darian turns 6

This weekend was a busy one~~ We attended Darian's 6th birthday party. It was so much fun, all of the kids got to cook their own mini pizza, make fruit kabobs, a veggie tray and decorate cupcakes. It was at the Buehler's cooking school. We had a blast!! Oh and we made flavored popcorn too!!

HAPPY BIRTHDAY DARIAN!!

We love you and we are so glad you're our cousin!

Baby Photo Shoot

Today we went to the mall and had our little ones photographed. They did so well!! Really for all of the awkward positions they did amazing. Big difference from the first photo shoot when they were 6 wks old. I'll have to scan them in later and post for reference. They were pretty fussy for that one. It took quite awhile but Rae and Ri just went with the flow. About an hour into it Riley started getting hungry so we fed her and then just when we were on to the next pose Reagan started to get a little rumbly in her tummy. She tried to suck on Riley shoulder and head but it didn't phase Ri she's kind of use to it. That wouldn't be the first time her sister has used her as a binki. We have the best little babies.

Our BIG helpers

Kenna Bear is such a big helper, she really helped Daddy out today since they had the day off. She changed both Reagan and Riley, and lets just say it was a little messy! Thank you Kenna, Mommy and Daddy love you and appreciate all of your help.
Chloe is quite the helper too!! She is a great big sister. She can rock her babies to sleep in no time. That's how she refers to them...so cute!

Allie Comes for a visit...

Allie Bari came for a visit this weekend!! We were all so excited. Allie we loved your boots! We miss you already. How about we meet you next, maybe a shopping trip in Columbus?! How much fun would that be.

Sweet Success

I did it!! I finally captured Reagan's beautiful little smile on camera. Believe me it was not easy...they smile all of the time but there something about having the camera pointed at them. Look out Ri you're next!!

Well baby check-up 4 months

Wow, how we have grown!! Yesterday our mommy and daddy took us to the doctor for a well baby check up. It was not fun. At first it started out okay we got to see our Aunt Alli she works there and the nurse weighed us. Riley had a little accident on the scale. They take our diapers off when they weigh us. The nurse also meassured us. I am a little bigger than Riley, she weighed 10lbs. 6oz. and was 23 inches long. I weighed 11lbs. 60z. and was also 23 inches long. Riley is in the 5th percentile and I am in the 10th. My mommy says that means we are still very small for our age. I feel like a big girl though. I even try to sit up sometimes. The doctor said that we are doing very well. She said that most babies our age aren't rolling over yet but I definitely have that mastered and Riley is well on her way. I roll over all the time and Ri has rolled over several times. Right now we are just rolling tummy to back we will try the other way soon. We love to sit up in our bebe pod. It's nice to be able to look around. We also enjoy sucking our hands, it gets our sleeves wet though. We also like to stand up when mommy and daddy are holding us. Anyway, we had to get shots at the doctors office that part was no fun at all. Four shots each...that's a lot. The doctor says it will help us to not get sick. I just wish it didn't hurt so bad. Me and Ri slept a lot when we got home, almost all night off and on. My mommy took lots of pictures of me and my sisters too when we woke up. She said she was so happy to have all four of her girls.
Love,
Reagan

A look back

Where has the time gone? I look at these pictures and can remember each one being taken. I can hardly remember a time without Reagan and Riley yet they have only been here a little less than four months. I thought it would be fun to look back.

Update....

Well, Josh and I took Reagan and Riley to the Dr. yesterday morning. They have ear infections in both ears, that kind of surprised us we had no idea. We were concerned about Riley's cold it seemed as if it was moving into her chest. The doctor gave us the all clear on that and said her lungs sounded good. They did a pulse ox.(sp?) and her oxygen level was great. That was a relief. Today they seem to be doing better.

weight update:
Reagan 11 lbs.
Riley 10 lbs.

No pics batteries are dead in the camera. Imagine that! I misplaced my rechargables, oops.

Look for a Chloe update soon. She fell on the playground yesterday at school and sprained her ankle.

Makenna's Art Work

Happy New Year!! Love, Kenna

Poor little Riley, she's not feeling well at all. Her nose is stuffy and running, her eyes are watering, she has a pretty bad cough and she's sneezing. All that but no fever, thank you Lord. Hopefully, she will be better soon. Hopefully, the doctors office will be able to get her in tomorrow. Please pray for her and that Reagan doesn't get it. We'll let you know what the doc says.

This is for you partner!!

Most of you know that I sell Real Estate, it's been 2 years and I love it. This December was my one year anniversery with Jeff Wiles Realty undoubtably the best Real Estate company out there. I feel so blessed to work with these agents. I am part of a team. My partner Lauri and I have been listing together almost from the beginning of me transfering my license and working for Jeff. He is a great boss. We really have a great office!! We all work so well together and believe me it is not like that in most offices. I worked for a larger real estate company before that and there is truly no comparison. Currently Lauri and I have 27 listings. So if anyone is looking to buy call us, surely we have something that would fit what you are looking for...lol. Seriously it's been great, again God had a plan and I am blessed. Here we are cheesing it up...this is for you partner!! You're the best!

HAPPY NEW YEAR

It's hard to believe 2006 is over and we are on to another year. Time goes much faster the older we get, yikes...lol. As fast as it went we sure did learn a lot can change in a year. You can have things planned out and not have any idea how different things will go. We made our resolutions, mine was to lose the rest of the baby weight and exercise more(in all my extra free time), Josh's was to try and eat healthier and work out/exercise. Makenna made one, this was her first year understanding what that meant. She is going to try to not fight with her sister Chloe as much and there was something else. I can't remember right now I'll have to ask her again and let you know later. I kinda nudged her with the not fighting one a little.(smile) We had a quiet New Year's Eve. We stay home and John, Laura, Darian, Sean, and Ashlyn came over and hung out. We ated dinner, played pool, and attempted to watch Pirates of the Caribbean 2. We also exchanged gifts with the kids for Christmas. It was great spending time with them. Reagan and Riley are doing well battling colds again but they are really coming into their personalities and we are loving every minute of it. They just love to be talked to. They smile so big, I love it!! Hopefully we will get out this weekend or early next week and get their pictures taken. There is a new studio I have been wanting to try out. I will post some of the pics after we get them. Our babies will be 4 months old on January 10. That is also Grama Judy's birthday and Makenna will be 9 on January 29th. I cannot believe that!! I remember bringing her home from the hospital. It doesn't seem like it was 9 years ago. She is a great little girl, she really helps me out when daddy's at work with Reagan and Riley. Chloe is a great helper too, she is going to be 6 on March 8th. That's another Wow!! The scary thing is before we know it we will be saying the same about our babies. I wish they stayed small longer.

Happy New Years to all of you and may you all have a blessed year!!
Rachel
